January 2nd - Redux

Redux
Directed by Gorosaurus and Aaron Haynes

Finally, the last film of the Winter Film Festival. This is one that, you may not have known about, but that I have been wating for for quite sometime. I have watched it, and rewatched it, and rewatched it again, and I must say it is a spectacular movie. The music fits perfectly, the animation is stellar, the mood is breathtaking, and there are even some new techniques that have never been seen before. I suggest that you download this now. If you don't, you could be missing out on what I think deserves the movie of the year award.

IMPORTANT: Read the readme BEFORE watching this movie!

NOTE: This movies was sent in before 2004, it is eligable for the 2003 movie awards

http://www.lockntoad.com/homyguyz/REDUX%20(fix).zip

Note: Goro is on vacation in Florida without internet access until the 10th. He's left his screenname up on mobile and I'll be sending him the occasional review/rating, but he's requested not to be flooded with messages from everybody. Be sure to flood him with messages when he gets back, though.

Hope you guys enjoy the movie, a ton of hard work went into it.

Scene 39 glitch should be fixed with the new versions later in the thread. Or you can click my sig for the .rar, or Goro's for the .zip.

Holy SHIT! This movie was fucking AMAZING! I nominate this for movie of the year. Animation rocked, and the use of music was kickass! Great movie, and to top it off, an awesome credits sequence too!

HOLY FUCKING SHIT.

This is the 3dmm version of Fantasia. It is now one of my favourite movies, and will probably be my biggest inspiration. Download NOW.

Full review tomorrow.

The only thing that I didn't like was when you raised the bar even higher for 3dmm movies. I hate you... and love you.

I can never tell whether you'll like a movie or not.

It does have a plot, though.

I think you can take it a bunch of different ways. I have a huge theory worked out for what things like the sanctuary could represent, but I'm waiting until more people watch to post it.

Gotta crash, boys and girls, I've been running full steam on this movie for something like the last three days and I'm out of energy. Leave comments, bug your friends, stay in school, close cover before striking, etc.

I'll be back on either later tonight or tomorrow morning. Hope you enjoy.

It gets messed up in the theater. If that doesn't work just try playing it in the toolbox.

Is this normal?

At scene 39 the movie stops. I Just cna't get scene 40, so I gotat skip to scene 41, which fuckin sux!!

Cuz now I gotta watch the animations with no music.

edit: Weird, I got this problem when I double clicked the file in the zip file. But when I dragged the movie out to the desktop, the problem seems to have dissapeared.

Yikes, that was good. I liked it, the animation was smooth, not bad, not bad at all.

Just bomb the scene and replace it for a plain black scene for howevermany frames it needs, did you watch it in the theater or toolbox?

Really outdid yourselves, guys. That was great.

Edit: Chicken Mcw00t.

This movie makes Doom 3 and everything else I've been working on look like Liza Minelli and Jon Lovitz had a kid... and that kid was Kelly Osbourne.

my first suggestion would be to watch it in the toolbox and my second would be just to skip the scene because the music picks back up shortly after...

Yeah it stops for me at 39. Scene 40 is missing

It's pretty good so far though, I'm not going to watch the rest without the music
