Wow that was really great! I particularly liked "Note to Self" and "Again" but they were all great listening to. Probably your best album yet!

Definitely his best album yet, I would say. Tops instrumentation. After the kinda live intro track setting the feel for the album, the next two tracks are catchy as fuck. Lyrically never cliche (although hard to discern meaning)! Generally, a really catchy, happy, fun album overall with Tom Breed's musical powers maxed out.

PS. Why "A Disconnect" wasn't put on the album, I don't know!

Breed thinks it doesn't fit, though it's the perfect album opener ala Pigs On The Wing.

The art is pretty cool too, of course, another Haynes/Breed partnership.

on the ground- not a real big fan of the chord progression, it's a bit too famaliar to me

the only girl I ever loved- nice tune, I really like the part when the drums kick in

Hugo- this song has grown a lot on me since the first time I heard it.

Capo4- great. i've not much else to say about it.

Hugo's getting Old: great upbeat song

I shall listen to the rest later. the album sounds top notch brother.
sorry that my comments are not very insightful.

It's growing on me, which is impressive, cause I already liked it a lot to begin with. 10x (Strange) in particular is working stronger than it did back when I first heard it. Hugo and The Roar are also really good.

It reminds of Strike a Pose a lot, a return to cryptic lyrics that clearly have meaning to you but are somewhat impenetrable to us; it kinda invites us to have our own interpretation. That's not to say it's word soup, you're working with themes of memory and regret, there's a daydream quality to it all, like you're assessing where you've been and wondering what it all means. It's SAP but more thematically accessible (and much better made, the craft has obviously improved as well).

I think it's easily your best album. Great work.

Dylan, I will be totally honest here. Constructive criticism and all that. Then I will say the best and the worst thing
about each song. Seems logical

DISCLAIMER: This genre is my least favourite genre. I'M JUST SAYING. IT'S NO ANDREW W.K AMIRIGHT?!?!

1. On The Ground
Great opening. Would be awesome as a full song, I enjoy that sort of sound.
Best bit: The whole thing really!
Worst bit: The talking in the background of the very start, only because you can't hear what your saying

2. The Only Girl I Ever Loved
Catchy. Slightly dreamy quality that I like.
Best Bit: The lyrics are really fucking good.
Worst Bit: Needs more drum filler, but other than that, your drummer is really great.

3. Hugo
Another super catchy song. Great start, great chorus. I like that it goes from quite poppy to a little bit heavy.
Best Bit: Oh man, the start is brilliant. Again, would be an awesome entire song.
Worst Bit: It sounds like you are layering your voice, which works for the whole song, excet for when you sing 'Go-oh-oh-oh
Although, that could just be my terrible taste in which includes 80's power ballards and screaming.
Favourite Song

4.Capo 4
This song is sad AND happy. This song belongs in a scene in a movie where it's a montage, and the girl and the guy have split up
because they have grown apart, and the montage shows them living their lives and slowly coming to terms with single life.
Best Bit: Cool guitar in there man. Very cool. Also, I like it when songs have a little bit on the end like
that. It kind of gives you time to reflect on the song.
Worst Bit: No chorus, but again, I'm pretty sure every song pre-1982 had a chorus.

5. Hugo's Getting Old
Had to listen to this song three times to give you a review. Love the guitar at the start, probably the best FLOW
out of all the songs. I ended up being able to go on Facebook and Wikipedia and 3dmm.com and what-not, and still tap my feet.
I don't know what this means.
Best Part: GUITAR. If that's you on the guitar, bravo.
Worst Part: Not enough awesome guitar. I would so love to hear a slightly heavier song from you.

6. Note To Self
Dude, your songs are SO MUCH BETTER TO ME if you don't layer another version of yourself singing too much. Like the first verse of this was excellent.
You have a great voice, you don't need to layer it twice like that.
Best Bit: Heavier last verse. Close second favourite.
Worst Bit: Hard to fault. So I'm not gonna.

7. 10x (Strange)
IS THAT A UKULELE I HEAR? AND A TAMBOURINE? OH GOD, NOW WHISTLING?!?!
Best Bit: UKULELE SOLO... And your harmonising with yourself.
Worst Bit: It could had have had more of a dreamy kind of slightly off quality to match the lyrics, but I'm being fussy and just trying to find something wrong.

8: Again
Why are the begginings of your songs so good? This would probably be the best song to sing to also.
Best: Strong song.
Worst Bit: I think it needed drums, then it would have been rocking as shit.

9: Off The Ground
The most moving song. Bird sounds could have been annoying, but TOTALLY worked.
Best bit: Great pace. I enjoy your instrumentals alot.
Worst bit: There's a weird high pitch noise happening when the song reached it's climax.

10:The Roar
Good song. Not the best, not the worst. You are very good at lyrics that don't come across as cheesy. I love the ending. Nice little build up.
Best Bit: The BURSTS of guitar. Love that.
Worst Bit: Unicorns can't FIT in suitcases, DYLAN.

11. Again (Yes again)
Soothing. The drummer should have really gone for it in the solo though!
Best bit: Reminds me of summer.
Worst: A little soft for a song to end an album. The last song on an album should be like date rape. Starts off soothing, ends up brutal as fuck.

In General: Let me say this, there are three songs I will put on my mp3 player. And that's a big deal, because I usually severely dislike this genre of music.

Good work, honestly.
