John Cleese on Sarah Palin:

Third debate parody (I actually thought this was a lot funnier than what SNL did for this debate):

They're not even tough questions. They're just the same baseless GOP talking points that have almost no basis in reality. The fact that they still use "Joe the Plumber" as an example when it was widely reported the day after the debate that Joe isn't really who he says he is and would actually benefit under Obama's plan shows how stupid they think most of America is.

The essence of McCain's campaign strategy from the last three weeks, distilled into a two-minute interview segment.

far right-wingers always have a certain empty look in their eyes. has anyone else noticed this? it's always the exact same look.

It's a single-minded determination to get out the talking points. They don't come on these shows to debate, they have a specific checklist of phrases to work through.

This is true of Obama's strategists, too, but they aren't the ones pushing this flaky "guilt by tangential association" crap.

Hey Aaron, have you seen these ads on TV lately?

I love the guy in the red shirt. I wish he was my grandpa.

Hahaha, I have. I hadn't seen that one yet though.

I've read that they're the breakout ads of the Senate races, among the most recognizable by people who've been asked. It helps that I'm strongly for Hagan, but even if I wasn't, they're just very well done.
