Democrat is no better, mccain or obama, either way means more government and therefore more corruption and more shittiness.

My issue with the election is what I perceive to be Obama riding the "change" train. He knows America is ripe for a great deal of change, and he is exploiting that angle, and likely will not deliver on any of his promises. So, really, it comes down to - a president who may continue Bush's policies, or a coffeehouse hero.

I'm voting for McCain because Obama doesn't put his hand over his heart.

If you're implying that I'm going to vote for McCain then you are way off, if you're implying that I'm going to vote for someone other than Obama, then yeah ok you're right...

I thought this thread was about bashing mccain, but apparently its only for members of the obama fan club.

You're one of those people who would have voted for Ross Perot and Ralph Nader, aren't you?

He'd have voted for the libertarian candidates in those races, probably. Or a nationalist party of some variety.

honestly i hope mccain wins.

i was reading an academic article about the welfare state and it said 60% of americans think the poor are lazy.

sixty percent. outrageous. you people need to live through some poverty or something, it's the nation's only hope.

you seriously can't have any progress. not in a nation where almost half of all voters are still willing to vote for the republican party, where more than half have cartoonish views about the poor, and so on.
