Somewhat early 2008 Presidential Election Poll

Here's the Super Early one from this summer:

http://www.3dmm.com/showthread.php?t=21940

Has anyone changed their minds? EH?

I've only put up people who seem to have a legitimate shot at getting their party's nomination. And Ron Paul.

I think I'll be just turning eighteen when its time to vote and so far I think Ron Paul is the best remotely realistic option.

Compcat supports a racist candidate who wants to go back to state rights, destroy a lot of central institutions in America like the FDA, pull out of the UN, and go back to the gold standard, destroying the US economy?

WOW WHAT A SURPRISE.

I'd rather have Ron Paul than some of those guys
none of his radical ideas are actually within the bounds of what a president can do without congressional support, and he's by far the least likely to actually get congressional support on them from anywhere.
It would just be four years of stalemate with nothing happening

yes I would rather vote a complete nut into my white house and destroy any form of foreign relations we had while the country was put into a time stasis period than actually have someone who does things running my country not this isn't how it works you fucking idiot

There's nothing all that wrong with Ron Paul, despite the internet cool guy (read: somethingawful) fad of acting haughty and above the Ron Paul mania sweeping the rest of the internet. Our foreign relations certainly aren't going to be getting worse over the next eight years no matter who we elect. And I never said we'd be in a "time stasis period," I just meant that any extremely radical ideas he has won't have any support from anyone else and would just fizzle out immediately. His stances on "real" issues - i.e. issues that he could actually affect if elected - are much preferable to Huckabee's, and certainly to Romney's. I'd rather have a silly idealist president than another fundie.

I'm not a Ron Paul supporter, but this "HAHA HOLY SHIT YOU'RE FUCKING RETARDED" condescending attitude toward anyone who doesn't just mock and dismiss him out of hand is not justified.

Most of Ron Paul's supporters are 9/11 truthers, radical racists, and other whackos and his stances on "real" issues are all just "STATES RIGHTS YEAH STATES RIGHTS" which is naturally his answer whenever given a remotely complex question

For god's sakes he supports the state's right to segregation he is against gay marriage and abortion he believes America shouldn't intervene in RELATIVE foreign affairs, even if we're just offering aid he is a disgusting lizard man

did you fucking watch the republican debates, as soon as he got his first question he talked about conspiricy theories and how they are right and he takes money from the most racist website on the internet why are you like this are you serious oh my god you don't see that the condescending attitude is COMPLETELY justified

John Edwards is a big sissy and I despise pretty much everything about him.

So most people like Obama...is there any reason in particular? Or is it that you just don't want Hillary?

The 9/11 conspiracy theorists are supporting Ron Paul, so that's a good bandwagon to jump on.

I know the Chuck Norris facts thing is old and tired (and a Bill Brasky ripoff), but it is kind of funny how Huckabee getting Chuck Norris' endorsement really was key in getting him noticed.

There's one funny bit in this commercial though...the "Chuck Norris Approved" thing made me laugh.

Oh shut the fuck up you fucking crazy cunt. The fact you're willing to elect somebody who wants to go back to states rights, federally criminalize abortion and destroy the us economy totally because he probably won't get those bills through? Just admit it, you support him because he's totally gonna make your weed legal bro and you're an entitled white libertarian dumbass.
