I'd vote for Obama or McCain if the election were tomorrow. I'm still amazed that Hilary actually had the stones to enter the race. There is no way she will ever have the popularity to win a presidental election, especially considering her ice queen public image. Her candidacy hurts the democratic party.

I predict this thread to be extremely big in a few days, and to me it's a completely uninteresting subject. PM me if this ever goes a bit off-topic.

i hate hillary clinton. If she's elected for the Democrats, I'm voting Republican.

I'm 100% for Barack Obama. He's brilliant, and I honestly think he's going to turn America around. And it's funny, the ONLY bad press he gets is all spin alley bullshit that the conservatives reword.

My issue with Obama is that I have spent almost as much time in political office as he has.

The daily show had a great interview with their senior Black correspondant about Obama a couple days ago.

"Barack has to decide, is he African or American...cause you can't be both"

...it was funny trust me, youtube that shit.

WTF? Newt Gingrich was a real answer? Lol, I voted it thinking it was a joke answer, but then looked it up to be sure. I was sadly wrong.

I voted Barack, but I have a feeling he won't be able to beat Clinton.
Now Clinton for president, Obama for VP, THAT is a ticket. Except then they'd lose votes from both people unwilling to vote for a woman and people unwilling to vote for a black man.

He's been in political office for over a decade. Hillary has only been a senator since 2000. Rudi Giuliani was only a mayor for about 7 years, aswell.

So he's actually spent more time in office than most of them.

haha, yeah, I saw that episode.

I don't think Barack will scare away votes because he's black. I actually think the majority of democrats under 40 would be more than happy to vote in a black man.

I honestly think Obama will appeal to more people than any other candidate. And from what I've been hearing from the majority of conservatives is that there really is no good conservative candidate, which means a lot of die hard republicans will just not come out and vote. Especially if Giuliani is the GOP candidate, because of his stance on abortion, gay marriage, and gun laws. They're all fairly liberal.

But then the problem with that is he might be stealing some votes from people who would've otherwise voted DFL.

Bah, it's far too early to predict this one. I think the most intense race would be Barack Obama vs Rudi Giuliani. Or John McCain. Hillary sucks balls.

the only way a black guy really has a chance of winning the presidential race in '08 is if he's Republican

Most of his time was as a state senator, which doesn't count for jack. He's only been in the US Senate since 2004.

I like how Whitey put 'Barack Hussein Obama' and if anyone calls him on such a moronic, typical thing to do, he'll be like "aww dude it's jus' a joke".
