Happy New Year! And as it's the start of a new year, here's a trailer for a movie that everyone should be waiting for this year.

Resurrected from the dead just in the nick of time, Aaron Haynes sent me this incredible preview to the most eagerly anticipated movie of the moment, perhaps in 3dmm history, Alternate Vlarion 4. This amazing trailer will really get you psyched up for the film, as it features some amazing scenery and animation, plus good music and......hell, this trailer is near-perfect. Everybody should download it right now.

Note: This trailer was completed before January 1st and therefore can be nominated for 'Best Trailer' in the next awards.

Requirements:

Frankie's Expansion (Download)

Is it just me, or did this seem kind of on the sloppy side? I mean, is this what the actual movie is going to be like? I mean, some of it looked incredible. I loved how Trevor was was animated, and there was a lot of other incredible stuff as well, but so much of it was just sloppy looking. Like the scene with Tiera on the ground as well as pretty much every scene in the trailer, there's just too much crosshatching and although it sometimes looks fantastic, most of the time it looked messy and unappealing.

Nevertheless, I'm still psyched about this movie, and I'm still going to like it no matter what, but I was kinda expecting more from this trailer.

my review.

Alternate Vlairion 4 - The Heavens Collide (Trailer)
Directed By Aaron Haynes

The trailer for one of the most anticipated movies in 3dmm history. This will be the last of the series and without a doubt it will be the best of the series and also Aarons best movie ever. Aaron last made Pamela, which was a brillaint comedy, but AV4 will be a fantasy/drama. This may be a trailer but it is a must download. Can't wait for the movie!
Rating: 8/10

That's more of a "state the obvious" than a review.

I can't say I orgasmed for this trailer. It ran pretty fuckin slow on my computer, and the scene transitions had unbearably long pauses in between.

God damn it Aaron, stop going so fuckin nuts with ridiculously detailed scenery.

It'll be out this year, and damned be any chance I have at sleep if that's what it requires.

Glad you liked it, JP.

Well, I watched it about 4 more times, and it has grown on me a bit, but yeah, you've got to cut down on the insane crosshatching.

You must be the only one dude. The only real crosshatching problem I can see is maybe the Tiera part. Maybe. The rest worked damn well.

Most of them are lighting effects. If you can find a better way to do scattered, moving light reflecting off of something, I'd like to see it.
