GNOMES - Old discussion thread

I can't believe I forgot to post this.

Despite the turmoil that would later occur in part because of this film, this was really a joy to make, and is still a personnal favorite of mine. In retrospect, I can see its flaws very clearly, but being my first feature length movie it'll always be something I'll hold dearly in my little 3dmming heart.

Tremendous. The formula you used to create this film was staggering. I like how you used a black contrast behind the forest to create a real nightmare. The music matched perfectly. I was actually getting suspicious while watcing this film! When that happens, I get close to my kitchen set...

I thought that was great. I have always been a fan of Storch's films and he hasn't disapointed me yet. Another masterpiece Mike, keep it up.

The first good 3dmm horror I ever watched. But looking back, I did a really bad job with my voices. I can't believe I even thought I did a good job. I think my voices are one of the movie's main shortcomings, and for that I'm very sorry.

hahah, I dug this movie, it had a real B-horror feel to it, I don't know if it was intentional or not, but it worked.

Guys SHUT THE FUCK UP about arguring and shit. Not in this thread. Mike deserves better then that.

I really like the direction of this movie, I thought the script was somewhat weak, but it still had its moments. I really like this movie and there still hasn't been to many movies that can go up against this in the horror genre.

I think that as a result of this movie I'm feel a bit weird standing next to garden gnomes.

Rewatched this for the first time in years the other day. Almost wish I had the time to make an extended edition cause I thought of 10,000 things I could change. Oh well.

Ramza basically let his writing credit go to his head. He did help plenty, but he went overboard when he realized how well it was doing. He took advantage of my modesty and milked it for all it was worth until now everyone associates Gnomes with his antics and not the actual movie.
