You can already do that now. You just need to use the sound extractor program that Travis made.

So texture baking enviornments isn't too tough..

Really is a simple one however, but I don't see this being an obsticle in my future endeavors..

Man, I hope I can figure this out on Maya, because I don't think models transfer well between it and 3DSM.

Actually, OBJ models should transfer fine... I would think... I'll get a tutorial up soon on how to do this in 3dsm. Its sickeningly easy, though theres one thing I haven't mastered about it, but it only seems to affect big scenes/enviornments.

Okay, I gave up one keeping all the colors for now, but this technique still looks awesome with all the messy colors.

Glad to see I've inspired! But yeah, basically baking theoretically has unlimited potential. It all depends on how good you are at cinematic scene developing. That means lighting/materials/the whole nine yards.
