The whole plane tickets/accomodation/spending money deal is for my 23rd birthday and I'm mainly going because I've only been to Melbourne once and done Sydney to death - and because shopping's SHIT up here. The other thing is that I have got in touch with a friend who moved down there who I haven't seen for 13 years, we fell out of contact.

At the same time, I want to catch up with Cal mainly because I haven't seen him since 1999 but if I had the chance to meet up with people like Rick etc who have been nice enough to help out with reviewing and stuff in the past as well as maybe others I've seen before like Jim, Atty, Leigh or whatever, all the better. A lot of these guys are 17+ anyway, not a huge difference anyway. It's not as if I'm meeting all 12/13 year olds and it's not as if that hasn't happened in the community anyway.

I've been around the community for years so it is just nice to meet up with some other vets and the 'next generation' anyway.
